This means, you should not pass your pain to others and you should not use it as an excuse to do inhuman things to those who didn’t do anything to you.

Here is the thing: when you feel compassion, then you are seeing the humanity in those who didn’t see it in you when they caused you pain. So if your heart was able to soften to those who didn’t to you, then you are definitely stronger than you thought.

It is like a beautiful mathematical solution that leads to pain acceptance and better living!

#9 – Give them a gift

No, you should not go out of your way and buy flowers or a set of candles. We encourage you to do something creative that you know will be good for them –It will set you free!

You can, for example, donate some money to a charity in their name or do something on their behalf that they have been postponing. If they are a danger to you, then they don’t need to know you are doing this. Otherwise, you can give them a smile or a few kind words to help their wounded hearts, too.

Keep in mind that this doesn’t mean you need to bring them back to your life, it only means that you are strong enough and good enough to do something good for those who broke your heart, and that’s a reflection of your true self!

#10 – The discovery phase

This is the last step of forgiveness, and during it, you will find a meaning and a lesson in the suffering you experienced.

This is how people become more aware of the hurts in the world, they become a lot more patient with those having a bad day, and they can literally see how people walk around with wounded hearts all the time.

Due to their previous pain, people become more aware of the pain of others and they do their best to flip it into good. Once you get a grip of that worldview, you will thrive in life again!
