4. They keep things from you
So your partner has been promoted at work, and you’re the last person to know? Finding out about your partner’s life updates, whether they are good or bad, from their friends instead of from them is such a hard blow. If your partner doesn’t even bother to share their happiness or problems with you but is happily sharing them with a coworker or anybody who’s not you, then you’re obviously in a one sided relationship. It is only natural to want to share happy news or sad ones with the man or woman in our lives, but if you cannot relate to this, it’s about time you moved on.5. You’re not their priority
So there is a soccer game at 8 PM that your significant other was meaning to watch, but you’re sick and need to be taken care of. What does your partner do? Do they stay in to take care of you, or do they go to watch the game with their buds? If the first, you’re in a loving and committed relationship, if the last, you’re definitely not your partner’s priority, and — you guessed it — you’re in a one sided relationship! If you feel like you’re trying too hard to maintain the relationship when the other person is not putting in any efforts or make a date night feel like a task to finish ASAP, then you need to overthink this relationship and make a wise decision. Never settle for less than what you deserve: healthy communication with a loving partner who is serious about your relationship and not just fooling around!- Advertisement -
