3. Do I accept them for who they are?
Yes, accepting someone means accepting their flaws as well. Nobody enjoys dealing with negative feelings, but the truth is, we’re all humans, which means we all have qualities and flaws that need to be worked on. There’s no such thing as perfection, and you need to make sure you accept the other person for who they are. It’s good to make a list of flaws, the ones you don’t tolerate, like lying, and others that you can accept and live with, like being stubborn, lazy, and so on. Then, think about this person and see where their personality stands. Do you accept them or not?4. Do I still have unsolved issues from the past?
Healthy relationships have one thing in common; they don’t have unfinished business. When you want to jump into a new life stage, why would you bring luggage from the previous stages? This old baggage will only slow you down, and it won’t allow you to step into this new relationship with a clear head and heart. If you feel or know that you have some problems yet to solve, whether that’s with your ex, family, or even yourself, it’s always best to figure that out before opening this new chapter.5. Am I seeing any red flags?
It takes two to tango, which means that both of you should be on the same page about starting a new relationship. You have to take care of yourself, figure out your feelings, and solve any pending problems from the past, but so does the other person. If you start to notice that the other person has some commitment issues, brings up their ex a lot, or is very indecisive towards how they feel about you, then you should immediately run away! Many people don’t do this and choose to ignore all the red flags because they are so “blind” to love. Even though it’s wonderful to dream, it’s also a good idea to keep yourself grounded and alert, especially when making important decisions.6. Am I ready to give my all?
A relationship is hard work. This means it takes a lot of time and energy from you. However, if you’re in love, you wouldn’t look at it this way. You would think about how it’s all worth it because you love the other person. So, are you ready to share your life with someone else? Your time? Your house? Your overall personal life? It is a big step, so you should be sure of it!- Advertisement -
