If you are not afraid to have conversations with your partner about sensitive topics, then you are both more aware of the importance of communication. Plus, if you mastered the art of handling those big topics, it means that you are involved with someone who you should never let go, because he/she is your “forever” buddy!

Also, if you still can’t have difficult conversations, but you still bring them up whenever it is needed with no fear, then that’s a great sign.

We all have a side that is too weird or too dark to show to anyone. But, when you are dating your soulmate, you won’t be scared to be mentally and emotionally naked in front of them.

Once you are in the presence of true love, every shield you built to protect yourself will be invisible in front of them because you know that they will accept you, love you, and never judge you for being your true, weird, and amazing self.

It is exhausting to put on an “act” in front of people every single day, and at this point, we might have got used to it. But, once you meet your person, you will feel comfortable in your own skin and all the masks will fall down.

Whether am having a good day or a bad day, I crave my fiancé tremendously. While having a good day, it somehow feels incomplete when your partner is not a part of it.

For example, when I travel somewhere new where I experience great interesting stuff, I would still desire to go back home as soon as possible to tell him all about it. Without him, my day won’t be special or even worth it.

In a true partnership, you will be surprised how much you will want them. Not only to have a date or watch a movie together but to just physically be around them. Oh, and by the way, they will crave you, too!

  1. our soul mate is the one we will have all our lives
    our soul
ain’t it good that we got a friend
don’t let anyone take your soul 🙂

  2. To me, a soul mate is something really-really solid. A dream mate is something that ‘gets-the-ball-rolling’ meaning … reference to that 60’s rumba song phase: ‘the fundamental loneness is gone when two can dream-a-dream together. Thank you for drawing me to express this well-kept thought.

  3. My feelings are that even though we were unable to make it permanent (for various and sundry reasons) the friendship has remained stable, at least for sure on my part. My FRIEND remains a good friend and will probably stay that way. She knows me and knows my comments are not KILLERS as she used to think they were. Friendship continues to be very important although we don’t email as much and don’t “go out” nearly as much as we used to (DISTANCE and WORK slow things down) but Friendship, Deep Friendship remains present. Due to circumstances jealousy (which used to raise its ugly head) has mostly disappeared from our relationship, she still is my SOUL MATE and has been since January, 1998. At least on my part, for sure. She can email me, I do not expect an answer on here.
